Looking at my dog one day, I started to explore the idea of a familiar. This spirit is present in mythology, fantasy contexts, and active practices today. What form would the familiar of a priestess take? What companion would accompany a divine feminine figure?
 
Butterflies are a recurring symbol in my practice so I referenced the wings of a Madagascar swallowtail butterfly to create an almost fairy like being.
