Earth energy is focused on embodiment, grounding, material, and structure. Ptah is the Egyptian deity associated most closely with this archetype.Ptah shows up all over my creative practice, in fact my studio logo is an adaptation of the traditional Egyptian glyph. Ptah rules sculptors, architects, and craftspeople while being ruled themselves by the earth.
 
For this piece, I wanted to explore the Ptah form as a sigil with a color and texture influence feeling more overtly like a forest or tree.
