Methodist Midlothian Medical Center
Little Fish
Midlothian, Texas — 2024
Commissioned by Skyline Art
Installed on an inpatient floor in a window overlook area, Little Fish introduces a measured field of color within a quieter, more reflective space of the hospital. The palette moves from blue into green and rust — a gradient that balances cool stability with grounded warmth.
While more modest in scale than the Emergency Room installation in Celina, the piece was developed with the same attention to evidence-based design considerations appropriate for healthcare environments.
As with other medical installations, OSHA regulations required a strict maximum depth of four inches, including mounting hardware.
