Illumination's End

Illumination's End

Apoxie clay, green quartz & stone granules on birch

12 x 12 x 4 in.

Illumination's End is a play on the absence of light and innovation. Widely seen as one of humanity's greatest inventions, the light bulb represents much more than physical light. The third representation is the absence of light at the end of the world. There's no need to see, if there's nothing left to see.
